Rich River Chaff and Hay is a proud family business that began in 2000 with John Monigatti and his sons, Paul and Bryan. Today, Paul and his son Jack continue the legacy on our 3000-acre farm, which boasts beautiful, nutrient-rich soils along the banks of the Campaspe River in Northern Victoria.

Water reserves are abundant to grow lucerne and cereal crops, with groundwater available in 'dry' conditions. Rich River Chaff and Hay can guarantee 'year-round' supply.

We pride ourselves in producing the highest quality hay and chaff, and strive to continually improve and expand our business. With growth and innovation in mind, we develop new products to be able to meet horses' needs. Low-sugar Rhodes and Teff chaff are our latest innovative products, targeting horses prone to laminitis, Cushing's disease and insulin resistance.
