John, Paul, and Bryan Monigatti started Rich River Chaff and Hay on their family farm in 2000. Our 3000 acre property has beautiful nutrient rich soils on the banks of the Campaspe River in Northern Victoria.

 

Water reserves are abundant to grow lucerne and cereal crops, with groundwater available in 'dry' conditions. Rich River Chaff and Hay can guarantee 'year-round' supply.

We pride ourselves in producing the highest quality hay and chaff, and strive to continually improve and expand our business. With growth and innovation in mind, we develop new products to be able to meet horses' needs. Low-sugar Rhodes and Teff chaff are our latest innovative products, targeting horses prone to laminitis, Cushing's disease and insulin resistance.
